Bio aus dem Tal is an initiative of us and two other Kleinarl organic farmers. In 2017 we started to refine our milk together and sell it on a small scale. Our farm cheese dairy is located at the Hirschleithof, at 1200 m above sea level. Here, different types of cheese are made from fresh organic milk using recipes handed down from generation to generation, with the addition of new ideas and a great deal of craftsmanship.
In order to optimally refine the whey produced, organic dairy pigs are kept at Hirschleithof, which in turn provide the best fresh meat, grilled specialties and ingredients for various types of sausage. We see ourselves as a local supplier for locals and guests and work according to the high Bio-Austria standards. In our self-service refrigerator in the dairy, in the self-service farm store on the Jägerseestraße, in the regional supermarkets as well as in selected hotels, inns and huts you have the opportunity to buy and taste our cheese varieties and meat assortment, which have meanwhile won several awards.
